Our Impact
Environmental Responsibility
Our manufacturing facility in Adana is partly powered by a 600 kW rooftop solar installation, directly reducing the grid electricity consumed by plate pressing, frame fabrication, and assembly operations. This lowers the embodied carbon of every unit that leaves the factory.
Inside the facility, production is engineered for resource efficiency. A closed-loop water recycling system serves pressing and testing operations, so hydrostatic test water is recovered rather than discharged. Waste minimisation programmes run across all manufacturing stages, from steel coil optimisation in plate cutting to gasket material recovery. Beyond the factory gates, carbon reduction is supported by company-owned orchard plantations, a long-term commitment that continues to grow alongside our production.
Our environmental management system is certified to ISO 14001, and workplace safety to ISO 45001, formalising these practices with annual external audits.
Sustainable Product Design
The largest environmental contribution a plate heat exchanger makes is not in how it is built, but in how it performs over 20+ years of service. Our designs target that lifetime impact in four ways:
Right-Sizing Through Verified Performance
Independently certified thermal ratings mean customers can select units without safety margins for specification uncertainty. Correct sizing avoids excess plate material and the energy waste of oversized equipment.
Close Temperature Approach
Plate geometries capable of <1°C LMTD approach unlock heat recovery duties that would be uneconomical with less efficient technologies, turning waste heat streams into usable energy.
Low Pressure Drop
Optimised flow distribution reduces the pumping power a system consumes every hour of operation, a saving that compounds across the unit's entire service life.
Refurbishment Over Replacement
Gasketed construction allows plate packs to be opened, cleaned, regasketed, and returned to service. A well-maintained ARES PHE unit can be renewed rather than replaced, cutting lifecycle material demand.
Responsible Supply Chain
All plate and gasket materials are EU REACH and RoHS compliant, with full traceability from mill certificate to finished unit serial number. Material test certificates (EN 10204 3.1) accompany every pressure-bearing component. We work with established mills and elastomer suppliers under long-term agreements, maintaining ethical and transparent sourcing practices across the supply chain.
